Growing up on a remote cattle station north of Alice Springs, Cash attended school by correspondence and longed for a friend his own age. Little did he know that on a nearby property (a few hundred thousand hectares away) there was a little cowgirl called Clancy longing for just the same thing. One dusty morning deep into the dry season, a desert wind whipped one of Clancy's scarves off the hills hoist, dropping it at Cash's feet miles & miles away. Determined to find the owner of the beautiful scarf, Cash wrapped it around his neck for wind protection and set off on his miniature pony to solve the mystery. The rest is history.
